Julia Francis
Julia Francis
Julia Francis is a songwriter and blues singer with a voice that rides the exquisite sonic swells of her band, The Secrets of Soul, like a muscle car screeching down a stretch of rainy midnight road. Julia and her Emerald City-based band harken to the formation days of rock ‘n’ roll and soulful blues music. With mind clearing guitar solos and pronounced rhythmic strolls, the music, like a bursting cloud, washes out the gutters of one’s own mind time and time again. And while it’s nearly impossible not to picture the great Janis Joplin when you hear Francis tear into a mic, there is more than sweet homage embedded in the songs and epic vocal performances. There is relationship and pain, bridges and waves, sunsets and daydreams in the front woman’s tone, whether she is reinterpreting a classic roots song or introducing one of her latest original compositions.

Julia Francis’ last album of original songs, Lucky Penny, was released in 2008, produced by Violent Femmes drummer Victor DeLorenzo, and features local session virtuosos Jeff Fielder, Andy Stoller and Ben Smith. Julia is currently working on a new recording project with members of South Seattle’s vibrant music community.
Wynne C Blue
Wynne C Blue
Wynne C Blue has been performing rock/powerpop with her Troublefakers since 2005. In 2018, Wynne ventured across the country solo for her Visiting You Tour, connecting with internet friends and fans from SXSW to New Haven to Oklahoma City. All this in support of Return to the World, her fourth album as Wynne C Blue and her Troublefakers. A storyteller at heart, Return to the World borrows from pop culture and her own experiences to document a very personal journey with a touch of blues, humor, and indie pop.
KiSMiT
KiSMiT
KiSMiT is a sassy and vibrant pop funk duo based out of Silverlake, CA. With a diverse song set and infectious energy on stage, they are making waves in the LA music scene. Lead by the soaring vocals of Carly Barnette paired with the sweet electric soul of Baz King, their love for each other and their music shines through every number. KiSMiT draws their inspiration from the funky sounds of Allen Stone, the playfulness of Justin Timberlake’s groove, and the honest storytelling of Sara Bareilles. Their mutual love of dance-pop, funk and songwriting blends their voices together in such a way that only fate would have it.
