Wall Of Ears
Wall of Ears is a freak pop band birthed out of N'awlins, now in Seattle, centered around the ongoing musical vision of CW Lott. Utilizing unconventional instrumentation like synthesizers, samplers, and screwdrivers; their 2nd LP Hello Beautiful Nothing is fearless in it's examination of outside experimental electronica and sonic surrealism. Style Weekly says, WOE's "psychedelic impressionism is whimsical in its Flaming Lip assessments of the ghost of Syd Barrett." --
As Dream Ring we take passion in incorporating heaviness and eeriness into our sound, and dialing in on the beauty within them. We combine influences of PNW alternative rock with aspects of space rock, alt metal, and prog rock to create music that resonates with the listener in new ways. Based in Tacoma, WA, Dream Ring seeks to bring that to you.
In 2011, SOVA was born from three seasoned musicians (James Mehl, Michael Palais, Chad Norley) based in the greater Seattle area, who subsequently created a rock-based landscape of sound; tinged with psychedelia, punk, and blues. Soulful vocal harmonies present modern life and social messages. In early 2018, lead vocalist Terry Hartness was added and shot the band full of adrenaline, to bring it to a new sonic level.
SOVA's sound is self-recorded, mixed, and produced, using a variety of traditional and experimental techniques. The SOVA live experience will take you on a sonic roller coaster, ranging from subtle moments to burning guitar chords & thumping bass/drums. Bluesy, soulful vocal harmonies glide over the top.
