MKB ULTRA
MKB ULTRA
My name is Mia Katherine Boyle and MKB ULTRA is the band I started with Sheridan Riley on drums and now Patrick James Lenon (sometimes both!), 5-Track on bass, Lisa Mansfield on percussion and back ups and now Laura Weller Vanderpool on guitar and back ups and, of course, Jack Endino recording us and playing guitar leads...it’s not quite a solo project although I write all the songs. To be honest, I am not sure that music is truly ever created by one person but that is another topic for another time. This is the band MKB ULTRA: We are committed to convey the truth as we know it and as it chooses to be conveyed in time and space through the hearts and minds of those devoted to the incredible, unifying power of self-expression. We intend that expression to reveal things that are for you, and only you, to know. The thought of this is delightful. Rock on.
Bear Axe
Bear Axe
Rooted in prog-rock with a thunder of soul, Seattle band BEARAXE is poised to bring the pain with a triumphant sweep of rebellion. This band self identifies as a three piece and a biscuit, combining the bone shattering vocals of soul- singer Shaina Shepherd with an electrified fusion of funk, jazz and proto-punk. BEARAXE has been rocking dive bars across the Northwest since the summer of 2016 -- merging their unique brand of storytelling with the low-lit grit of the Seattle grunge movement.
Linda From Work
Linda From Work
Linda From Work, railing against the 9-to-5 lifestyle, exploded onto the Seattle indie rock scene in the summer of 2018. Led by Hillary Tusick on vocals and guitar, this group has crafted an intense and melodic sound built from garage, surf, and indie influences. Joined by Sam Nowak on drums and Mary Robins on bass, Linda From Work has been known to perform songs that enthrall audiences with their powerful yet intimate vocals and energetic instrumentals. Their debut EP Two Weeks Notice, produced by Grammy award-winning, local rock legend Jack Endino, evokes the feeling of finally letting go and sharing secrets over a bottle of whiskey at 4am.
