James Coates
James Coates
Seattle Americana artist James Coates was born to play music. His parents toured in a cover band and, after his birth, owned a music shop before his father settled on tuning pianos. Surrounded by the 88-keyed instruments, James took to music at a young age, eventually picking up the guitar as well.

Fast-forward 30 odd years and Coates has released a full-length album, toured nationally (including a headlining stop at Nashville's famous Bluebird Café), been featured in film and radio and opened for national acts like Sheryl Crow.

Although James has performed countless shows and clocked numerous hours in the studio, he considers himself a songwriter at heart and songwriting is at the core of his upcoming sophomore album, The American.
The Hasslers
The Hasslers
The Hasslers, Americana/ Alt-Country troubadours, have been spending the last year in the Pacific Northwest, getting their feet wet in the big city music scene, playing venues weekly in Seattle and Portland, and most importantly, recording their full-length album, State Center.

This new 12 song LP documents their move, both musically and lyrically, through homesick blues songs, lovelorn country songs, and a new turn into roots-rock with horn arrangements, funky guitar licks, and wailing organ riffs.

As winners of the emerging artist contest, they played the main stage at Red Ants Pants Music Festival last year, and will taking their show on the road in Summer '16. Recently they've been seen playing alongside acts such as Blitzen Trapper, the Cave Singers, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, the Gypsy Lumberjacks, the Black Lillies, the Heartless Bastards, and many more!
Ian Hale & The Legacy
Ian Hale & The Legacy
Ian Skavdahl (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Songwriter) and Chris Hyde (Drums) have been playing together for a few years back in Pullman, Washington as "The Ian Skavdahl Band." Ian, who received a vocal degree from WSU, leads with unique song writing style and fast paced, percussive guitar playing. After about a year in Seattle they added Matt Clifford (Electric Guitar) and Adam Guldhammer (Bass). They all come from drastically different musical backgrounds giving the band an eclectic and unique folk/blues/Americana sound you won't hear anywhere else.
