X Suns
X Suns
"If you're a fan of dark, winding instrumentals, do yourself a favor and put X Suns on your "to listen" list. The Seattle trio sit somewhere in the middle of the brutal intensity of Russian Circles and the firework-filled wall of sound of Explosions in the Sky. It's like shoegaze with a backbone. Start with the 11-minute "Pillars for Palaces." Lay back, close your eyes, allow it to envelop you and carry you away to sea." - MEGAN SELING (The Stranger)

X Suns was formed in 2009 by Keith Furtado, Trent McIntyre, and Adam Tricoli. They started playing live at the start of 2010 (as Ten Suns). In Oct. of 2011, They recorded a 5 song E.P. with Justin Armstrong at Electrokitty Studios. Soon after they changed their name to "X" Suns (X as the roman numeral for ten). After self-releasing the E.P. on CD and Digital Download in January of 2012, the band decided to enlist the skills of Skippy Tim King (of the Seattle band Patrol) as their second guitar player to beef up their live sound. They continued as a four-piece until May of 2012, when Keith Furtado decided to part ways with the band. He was replaced by Richard Burkett in August. Currently they are working on new material for their next release.
You.May.Die.In.The.Desert
You.May.Die.In.The.Desert
You.May.Die.In.The.Desert is a three-piece instrumental band from Seattle, WA. The trio are a tight knit machine that create chaotic, cinematic, and progressive music.

You.May.Die.In.The.Desert latest release, International Waters, is by far their most mature and refined album to date. The album takes the listener on a dynamic journey blurs musical boundaries. The album reflects the last several years of traveling the world, making new friends, and sustaining relationships. YMDITD have released three other albums, Bears in the Yukon, and Harmonic Motion: Volume I (a split record with Gifts From Enola), and in 2010 they self-released an EP, titled “International Waters E.P.”. Bears in the Yukon was originally released in Japan by Zankyo Records and more recently in the USA by The Mylene Sheath. The band has toured extensively in the western USA and had the opportunity to tour Japan in 2007.

YMDITD will be on tour this summer and playing are several one off shows in Seattle.
more.is.more
more.is.more
more.is.more is bombastic minimalism in post-rock.

What the hell does that mean? Well we are a two-piece from Minneapolis that manages to make quite a clamor. We like things like Battles, Glassjaw and Lettuce. See what you think.

We recorded an album with Adam Tucker at SignatureTone Recordings this summer and will be putting out our debut 10 inch record, Roy G. Black, most likely in the fall.
Panther Attack
Panther Attack
Panther Attack! is an instrumental band that explores the more complex elements of rock.
The band's newest endeavor is a powerhouse of tension and release that showcases the intricate layers of cascading guitar and dynamic rhythm section. Some people might categorize them as "math rock", but the band seeks to transcend such rigid confines by creating fluid compositional movements that have a sense of direction. Their sound is more likely to move your body in strange, impulsive ways than to have you standing still,
arms-crossed, fading into oblivion.
Formed in metro Detroit over a decade ago, the core members of Panther Attack moved to Seattle and self-released their first album Martyr Bonus in 2007. The band toured the West Coast and then released their Sharp Moments EP a year later - it was pressed to 300 limited edition copies on 10" vinyl. The band gigged regularly and became highly recommended as a local act that "you must see live." Panther Attack! was praised for their "badass swagger via thrashing riffs and driving percussion" in an article by Megan
Seling of the Stranger, highlighting Seattle's instrumental music scene.
Like an elusive animal of prey, Panther Attack! awakens hungry in 2014 with a new full length titled "Sung Amongst Shadows", and will be touring the West Coast once again in support of their latest release in early fall.
